Pendleton County Farmers Market Final Weeks

The seasons are changing, and the Pendleton County Farmers Market is heading into the final weeks of another market season. Every Saturday, the market at the Pendleton County Fairgrounds in Falmouth gives residents and visitors an opportunity to shop directly from local farmers, food producers and artisans. The 2026 market season is scheduled to continue through October 31.

There is still plenty of time to stop by and see what local vendors have to offer. Shoppers can find a variety of products, including seasonal produce, beef, chicken, lamb, honey, eggs, jams, baked goods and handmade artisan items. With dozens of vendors participating throughout the season, what's available can change from week to week, making each Saturday a little different. I personally need to get their soon and stock up on my favorite BlackBerry Vanilla Bourbon Jelly by Crafty Gardens.

The market is more than just a place to pick up fresh food. It is also an opportunity to support local farmers, small businesses and area artisans while keeping more of those dollars right here in our community. The market has become a regular Saturday gathering place for people looking to shop local, visit with friends and discover something new.

With October approaching, the market is also a great place to start thinking about the flavors of fall. Whether you're looking for fresh ingredients for a weekend meal, locally made goodies, or a unique handmade item, there are still several Saturdays left to make a trip to the market.

So don't let the season pass you by! Head down to the Pendleton County Farmers' Market at 20 Fairgrounds Road in Falmouth, Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and enjoy one of the best ways to experience what our local farmers, producers and makers have to offer.
