October 2nd - 4th On Caddo Road!

Fall is just around the corner, and one of Pendleton County’s most anticipated annual traditions is only a few weeks away. The Kentucky Wool Festival will return to Falmouth October 2–4, 2026, bringing three days of music, crafts, food, heritage demonstrations, family activities and plenty of Kentucky tradition to the festival grounds.
The Kentucky Wool Festival has been a Pendleton County tradition since 1983, when a group of local citizens came together to create a unique event celebrating the area’s heritage and the sheep and wool industry. Today, the festival continues that tradition while offering something for visitors of all ages. The event features a juried craft show with handmade items, food vendors, demonstrations, entertainment and opportunities to learn more about the history and traditions of the region.
Music will once again be a major part of the weekend, with performances scheduled across the festival’s Main Stage and Log Cabin Stage. This year’s entertainment lineup includes bluegrass, country, gospel and other regional performers throughout Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Among the scheduled performers are The Grascals, John Morgen Band, Paint Creek, Hammertowne, The Lonesome Express Bluegrass, 7 Mile Bluegrass, Bourbon Holler and many others.
With the festival only a few weeks away, now is a great time to start making plans for a fall weekend in Pendleton County. Whether you come for the handmade crafts, Kentucky food, live music, heritage demonstrations, or simply to enjoy the atmosphere with family and friends, the Kentucky Wool Festival remains one of the area's signature fall events.
