Fall Is Just Around the Corner!!

Fall is just around the corner, and that means one of Pendleton County’s favorite traditions is almost here! The Kentucky Wool Festival returns October 2–4, 2026, bringing three full days of music, food, handmade crafts, heritage demonstrations and plenty of family fun to the festival grounds on Concord Caddo Road near Kincaid Lake State Park in Falmouth.
There will be plenty to see and do throughout the weekend, including sheep shearing, spinning, weaving, fiber arts demonstrations and working dogs, giving visitors a chance to experience the agricultural traditions that helped inspire the festival more than four decades ago. The Wool Tent will feature everything from fleeces and yarns to handmade fiber creations and demonstrations by skilled artists.
Of course, Wool Fest wouldn't be complete without great entertainment and plenty of food! Two stages will feature a full weekend of bluegrass, country, gospel and regional music, with performers including The Grascals, Hammertowne, Paint Creek and many other talented artists. Visitors can also browse a large selection of handmade crafts and enjoy a wide variety of food vendors throughout the grounds.
The Kentucky Wool Festival has been a Pendleton County tradition since 1983, and each year it brings thousands of visitors to the area while celebrating Kentucky's rural heritage, craftsmanship, agriculture and community spirit. Whether you're a longtime Wool Fest regular or planning your first visit, October 2–4 is a great time to enjoy the sights, sounds and flavors of fall right here in Pendleton County.
