It’s always nice to see local organizations recognizing the hard work and accomplishments of people in our community. The Pendleton County Farm Bureau recently celebrated both a local farm family and several outstanding young people during its Annual Membership Meeting in Falmouth. According to a post shared by the Pendleton County Farm Bureau, Cody and Kaitlyn Hall were honored as the Pendleton County Farm Bureau Young Farm Family of the Year, while four local youth competed in the organization’s Outstanding Youth Contest.

This evening at our Annual Membership Meeting we awarded Cody and Kaitlyn Hall with the Pendleton County Farm Bureau Young Farm Family of the Year award. Congratulations to the Halls!
We also had four individuals compete in the Outstanding Youth Contest. Riley Combs, Kaycee Voet, Robert Combs and Levi Wolfe competed. Each contestant did a great job. This competition consisted of a personal interview followed by a two minute speech. Riley and Robert will represent Pendleton County in the District 9 contest on October 13th.
