Annual County investment of Approximately $32,000

Did you know Bracken County Fiscal Court is one of only four counties in Kentucky that fully funds emergency air medical transport coverage for its residents?
Through an annual county investment of approximately $32,000, every Bracken County resident receives base-tier AirEvac coverage at no out-of-pocket cost. The coverage applies when an emergency occurs in Bracken County or Mason County and EMS determines that air transportation is medically necessary.
That could include serious vehicle crashes, heart attacks, critical trauma, or other emergencies where rapid transportation to a trauma center is needed.
Residents who travel or want additional coverage can also purchase optional AirMedCare Network membership plans, which automatically cover everyone living in the member's household.
It's a benefit many Bracken County residents may not know they have — and one that could be incredibly important when an emergency occurs.
